2 Fibonacci Poems

Okay, as promised, I now have Fibonacci poems. (I know, I know. I'm such a hypocrite.) Enjoy!



They
say,
Dirty
Mexican
But when they need clean
They ain't callin nobody else!

spooks
have eyes.
Blink. Blink. Blink.
We might look sleep, but
that 3rd eye/ is what'll gitcha

Nah, you're not a hypocrite. You were showing how to use the form... a form you didn't/don't think makes for good poetry... and trying to see if it's tenable in any way. That's the way to prove/disprove any theory.

My mom, btw, would thank you for reprinting my pic... and shy probably wouldn't give you an argument on the geek thing either.

Thanks for taking the time out to respond to my post. I know you must have had hundreds of responses from the Times article.

Something I've noticed about the Fib form is the inherent opportunity for repetition, since each line builds (in syllables) on the line preceding it, such as:

Dark
Dark hands
Dark hands love
Dark hands love to sing
Dark hands love to sing for us


While the above example isn't necessarily a good use of this quality, it is something I'm pondering.

And regarding my geek comment, I only said it because I recognized myself. As we all know, it takes one to know one.
